TRAVEL
The nearest airpot is the SLO airport. It is small and most likely will require a connecting flight but it is a 20 min drive to the hotel. Nearby large airports include San Jose and San Francisco, both of which would reguire a 3-4 hours drive.
LODGING
The wedding will be at the Madonna Inn, you can get rooms there, or rooms are available around San Luis Obsipo (SLO) as well. We have rooms blocks at the two locations below. You can take a ride share to the venue or you can reach out to us to organize a carpool/pickup!

Room rates are $227 per night with $20/ day parking. Rooms will be held until September 15, 2026. Two night minimum. Stay includes complementary breakfast and 2 complimentary drinks per night.

One block from the Pismo Beach pier and beach. Room rates are $120 to $200 /night depending on weeknight vs weekend rates. Rooms will be held until October 8, 2026.
THINGS TO DO
The Madonna Inn itself has a restaurant, bakery, and grounds worth exploring itself but here is a list of other activities:
• CalPoly Architectural Graveyard - a collection of architectural pavilions designed and built by students on a hiking trail.• Sea Glass Beach - the name says it all, located down below behind the Sea Crest Hotel.
• Los Osos Spooner Cove - Hidden beach for beach combing and tide pools at low tide.
• San Luis Obispo - is a lovely college town with a nice downtown district.
• Monarch Butterfly Garden! - Monarch butterflies migrate here during winter months.
• Pismo - is a small beach town with a great strip of store and restaurants as well as a pier.
• Morrow Bay - is a small beach town with shops (including a shell store) where you can possibly spot some sea otters. There is also a pretty big rock.
• Hurst Castle - Up the coast a bit but it's a large mansion created by a newspaper tycoon (citizen kane) that you can now tour.
• Elephant Seals - Near Hurst Castle, a small beach with a viewer platform where you can watch elephant seals.
